Teaching Images:

I used the files below to help me teach certain concepts.
(this has been oh so replaced by the NCEA 1.9 file!)

These two documents go together and you have to use some imagination as to how they were used. The big idea here is that GeoSketch images are not static, you can move one point and see the affect that has on the points that are connected to it via transformations.




The ideas powerpoint has screen dumps of GeosketchPad to drive lessons. I like the entire class to shout out things live 'alternate', 'vertically opposite', 'corrosponding' all together as I flick between the slides. At the end of those there are simply reminders to me of what I did/used that year.
